The Minnesota Vikings have issued an injury update for standout wide receiver Adam Thielen following his departure from this afternoon's game against the Detroit Lions.

Thielen slowly made his way off the field and into the injury tent following a crazy touchdown catch in the game's opening quarter.

It was initially tough to tell what kind of injury Thielen was dealing with, though the team has since announced that it's a hamstring injury.

"Vikings’ WR Adam Thielen is questionable to return with what the team is calling a hamstring injury," ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted.

Thielen made a circus touchdown catch in the first half of today's game against the Lions.

The Vikings are trailing the Lions, 14-7, at the end of the first quarter.

Thielen departs today's game with one catch for 25 yards and a touchdown. Stay tuned for the latest on the standout wide receiver's status.
