Former Buckeyes Star Vonn Bell Is Coming Back To Ohio

Vonn Bell spent his collegiate days in the state of Ohio. The former Buckeyes star will be coming back for his fifth NFL season.

The former Ohio State standout defensive back is reportedly leaving the New Orleans Saints in free agency. He's reportedly coming back to Ohio.

Bell is reportedly signing with the Cincinnati Bengals. The 25-year-old defensive back has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal in Cincinnati.

NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo first reported the news. This is a big-time pickup for the Bengals.

Bell, a top recruit out of the state of Georgia, left Ohio State in 2016 for the NFL. He was the No. 61 overall pick by the Saints in the '16 NFL Draft.

The former Buckeyes star played for New Orleans from 2016-19. He has 345 career tackles, eight sacks and one interception.

Bell will now play for a Bengals team that should be led by future No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow, who began his college career at Ohio State.
