UCF has gotten right back into its second round NCAA Tournament game against No. 1 Duke with a simple defensive strategy.

The strategy: Refusing to guard Duke's star point guard, Tre Jones, on the perimeter.

Jones, a poor outside shooter, is literally getting dared to shoot by UCF's defensive players.

The Knights' guards are yelling "shoot it!" and "hell nah!" whenever Jones is possessing the ball on the perimeter.

UCF, which trailed by 8 points at halftime, has stormed back and tied the contest at 54-54 with less than 12 minutes to play.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has gone as far to say that Coach K needs to bench his point guard. "Coach K needs to bench Tre Jones b/c he just cannot shoot," he tweeted.

Jones is 4 of 13 from the field and 0 for 6 from the 3-point line. He's affected the game in other ways, dishing out four assists, grabbing three rebounds and recording a steal, but his inability to shoot the ball is hurting the Blue Devils.

Duke and UCF are playing on CBS.
