This afternoon, the Oklahoma State Cowboys took care of business against the Kansas Jayhawks with a dominating 42-6 victory in Stillwater. The win moved Oklahoma State to 8-1 on the season, keeping the team squarely in the race to win the Big 12.
After the game, the team was lucky enough to have a chance to listen to Cowboys legend Barry Sanders speak. Sanders was honored at halftime with the rest of the 1988 football team for its 25th anniversary, and he wanted to tell the currently players to be extremely proud of the work they are putting in right now and the success they are having. He also told them that before they know it, their time playing football will be over, so they should not take the opportunity in front of them for granted. Here's video of his talk:
