Video: Court-Storming In WAC Game Leads To Ugly Brawl

If court-storming is eventually outlawed in college basketball, we may point to Utah Valley vs. New Mexico State as the main reason why. In last night's game between the Aggies and Wolverines, a brawl between the players started taking place right as fans were storming the floor to celebrate UVU's victory. It got ugly.

The fight started after New Mexico State's K.C. Miller-Ross hurled the ball at Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker right after the buzzer sounded. As the pushing and shoving spills over into the crowd, you can see numerous fans getting involved in the melee. At one point, you can even see No. 25 Renaldo Dixon take a swing at one UVU supporter's face.

ESPN's Seth Greenberg did a nice job breaking down the incident:

Let's hope this is a one-time occurrence. As bad as it was, it could have been worse, had both coaching staffs not acted so quickly.
