The Kentucky Wildcats are currently exacting revenge on the Robert Morris Colonials — the team that ended UK’s 2012-13 season in the NIT. Kentucky leads by 22 points at halftime, and has pretty much been able to do anything it wants in this one.
The star of the show so far is freshman Aaron Harrison, who has scored 19 points on only eight field goal attempts. However, in the final seconds of the first half, his brother Andrew made the most impressive play of the game, calmly knocking down a three from 75 feet out. Yeah, 75.
Unfortunately, Harrison was whistled for traveling before he got the shot off. Regardless, it was pretty impressive:
With the bucket taken away, Andrew Harrison remained scoreless in the first half, although that would have actually been his first shot attempt. With a stroke like that, I think the kid needs a green light.
