Video: Saint Mary's' Brad Waldow Got His Front Tooth Knocked Out Last Night, Tried To Toss It To His Coach

Who says basketball players aren't as tough as hockey players? Saint Mary's forward Brad Waldow took an elbow to the mouth during last night's overtime victory over San Diego and lost his front tooth on impact. He then picked it up, ran off the to sideline to hand it off, and tried to stay in the game.

Waldow attempted to give the tooth to his coach, Randy Bennett, but Bennett made it clear that he didn't want it. And luckily for Waldow and the Gaels, because it was an elbow above the waist, the referees had to look at the play on the monitor to determine whether it was deliberate. That gave Saint Mary's' trainers enough time to get Waldow cleaned up to return to play.
