Video: Watch Miami's Players React To Hearing Light NCAA Penalties

They were pumped.

Back on October 22nd, the NCAA released its official report regarding the Nevin Shapiro scandal at Miami and handed down sanctions for the Hurricanes program. By all accounts, the school got off easy - the team received no bowl ban and lost three scholarships per year for three years. As you can imagine, Canes fans and players were excited to hear the news.

The school released a video today of AD Blake James announcing to his players that they can still still "pursue their team goals" - aka, play in a bowl game. After a delayed reaction, they started dancing and singing "it's great to be a Miami Hurricane".

Miami takes on No. 3 Florida State tonight. If the Hurricanes can pull off the historic upset, they might be using that bowl eligibility for a big-time BCS showdown.
