What Seed Did Albany Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Albany Great Danes were given a 16-seed in the South-region. They are coached by Will Brown and hail from the America East Conference.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against the Mount St. Mary's in the first round in Dayton.

Why: Albany finished with a 9-7 record in the America East, good enough for fourth place in the conference. The Great Danes secured the league's auto-bid by knocking off Stony Brook in the conference tournament title game.

Ceiling: Albany is one of just a few teams in the NCAA Tournament with less than 20 wins on the season. The Great Danes, who are fortunate to even be included in the big dance, are not expected to advance past the first round.
