What Seed Did Cal Poly Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Cal Poly Mustangs were given a 16-seed in the Midwest-region. They are coached by Joe Callero and hail from Big West.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against Texas Southern in the first round in Dayton. Winner gets Wichita State.

Why: Cal Poly finished with a 6-10 record in the Big West, tied for sixth place with Cal State Fullerton. The Mustangs went on an improbable run to win the league's postseason tournament and therefore its auto-bid.

Ceiling: Cal Poly had won just 10 games before the Big West Tournament and sits with a 13-19 overall record. The Mustangs are arguably the lowest ranked team in the field and probably won't be around very long.
