What Seed Did Delaware Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Delaware Fightin Blue Hens were given a 13-seed in the East-region. They are coached by Monte Ross and hail from the Colonial Athletic Association.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against Michigan State in Spokane on Thursday.

Why: Delaware finished with a 14-2 record in the Colonial, winning the conference regular season title. The Blue Hens then won the league's postseason tournament, securing its auto-bid.

Ceiling: Delaware won't be a sexy pick in this year's tournament, but the Blue Hens certainly have the capability to surprise. They played Villanova tough back in November and have lost just two games since December 30th. Still, one victory would be a surprise.
