What Seed Did North Dakota State Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the North Dakota State Bison were given a 12-seed in the West-region. They are coached by Saul Phillips and hail from the Summit League.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against Oklahoma in Spokane on Thursday.

Why: NDSU finished the season with an 25-6 record, and won the Summit League regular season and tournament. They also landed a nice win against Notre Dame early in the season, when the Irish still had guard Jerian Grant.

Ceiling: The Bison lead the nation in field goal percentage, hitting 50.9% of their shots as a team. Taylor Braun leads the team with 18.2 points per game, while Marshall Bjorklund is an effective inside presence, scoring over 13 points per game on 64% shooting. The Bison are pretty talented, and could be a good first round upset pick, but don't expect them to go much farther than that if they do pull off a win.
