Who Could Replace Skip Bayless On ESPN's "First Take"

Half of ESPN's most-polarizing show is leaving this summer. The network announced today that Skip Bayless, 50 percent of First Take, is departing (likely for FOX Sports 1) when his contract expires in June. His last show will be the day after the NBA Finals' concludes.

According to SI.com's Richard Deitsch, First Take will continue with Stephen A. Smith and ESPN already has a list of possible replacements for Bayless.

Who could those finalists be?

Let's take some guesses.

Danny Kanell

Kanell is close to a year into Russillo & Kanell, ESPN's 1 p.m. E.T. to 4 p.m. E.T. national radio show, which he co-hosts with Ryen Russillo.

He's full of opinions and controversial enough to sit opposite Stephen A. on First Take

Michelle BeadleBeadle currently lives in L.A., co-hosting Sports Nation, so she'd have to leave the 4 p.m. E.T. show and move back East. She's strong and well-spoken and would be a nice change of pace against Stephen A.

Michael Smith and/or Jemele Hill

The duo has their own debate show, His & Hers, that is thought of fairly well.

ESPN moving one of them (or both) to the First Take desk seems possible, though.

Bomani Jones

Apparently not.
