On the same day that wrestling legend Ric Flair was hospitalized, news dropped that former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro has passed away.
Details surrounding Massaro’s death are scarce at this time. According to the Daily Mail, she was found unconscious at home on Long Island and transported to the hospital.
Massaro was pronounced dead “due to undisclosed but non-criminal causes.” She was 39 years old.
WWE released a statement on her death earlier on Twitter.
“We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. She performed in WWE from 2005-2008 and was beloved by her fellow Superstars and fans around the world. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.”

Massaro won Raw Diva Search in 2005, earning a one-year contract with WWE and a $250,000 prize.
She was a WWE Superstar from 2005-08 and also appeared on the cover of Playboy.
