The past few months haven't been kind to UFC star Conor McGregor.

After losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov in embarrassing fashion and getting assaulted by Khabib's team afterwards, McGregor's name popped up in a sexual assault case earlier this year.

But that's not all. Video of McGregor assaulting an older man at a bar surfaced earlier this month.

Despite all of the trouble he's had outside of the Octagon this year, it looks like McGregor is ready to put it all behind him.

On Tuesday afternoon, the former lightweight champ took to Instagram to congratulate Nate Diaz on his recent victory.

"Congrats on the win this weekend Nate, it was motivating to see it for my own comeback. I don’t blame you not mentioning me for the trilogy bout post fight, you know what I’m like when I get going. Vicious.
I loved the round 3 style from round 1 that you implemented. It’s what I was hoping you would implement for this bout and was glad to see you do it. I’ll be prepared for it when we go again," McGregor said in the post.

Hopefully we'll see the final chapter between these two decorated fighters.

It's only fitting someone walks out on top.
