Air Force took care of business today in one of the most important games of its season against Army. The Falcons escaped with a narrow 17-13 victory over the Black Knights.
The military games always mean so much to the players and its fans. It’s a fun rivalry which also carries connotations not necessarily related to football itself.
After the game, Air Force’s social media team poked some fun at Army via Twitter. It looks like the Black Knights blocked the Falcons on social media after the defeat.

This is what makes college football so much fun. Army doesn’t want to hear about today’s loss anymore. So the Black Knights took it upon themselves to block Air Force’s Twitter account (allegedly, anyway).
And now, Air Force is rubbing the victory in, asking people to retweet their tweet and tag Army in it. You got to love it.
For Air Force, today’s win moves the Falcons to 7-2 with three regular season contests remaining. They still have to play New Mexico, Colorado State and Wyoming.
Army on the other hand is in danger of missing a bowl game. The Black Knights are now 3-6 with remaining contest against VMI, Hawaii and Navy. They’ll have to win out if they hope to go bowling.
