It's not often that someone transitions from cheerleading to racing, but Taylor Reimer has managed to pull it off.

Reimer was a cheerleader for the University of Oklahoma. She graduated from the school with a degree in health and exercise science.

Now, Reimer is out to prove she can become a household name in NASCAR. In a recent interview, she opened up about being part of the Toyota Racing family.

“I think it’s really cool what Toyota is doing for females around the sport and I’m really good friends with a lot of the female drivers and I think that’s important you know because you don’t want to be put against each other,” Reimer said, via On3. “As females, there’s not a lot of us in the sport and I think it’s important that we stick together and just really try and break barriers in the sport.”

Reimer made her Chili Bowl debut in 2021. Fast forward to 2024, and she's out to show what she can do in the ARCA Menards Series.

“I’ve got two ARCA races, they are the dirt ones this year. Along with that, I’m going to go back and still do some midget stuff just whenever I have an off-weekend, there’s some tracks I really enjoy racing at. I’m going to go back and do some of those as well.”

Only time will tell if Reimer has what it takes to dominate the dirt track.

Oklahoma fans will certainly be rooting for Reimer.
