5-Star Stud Michael Porter Jr. Narrows Decision Down To 17 Schools On Twitter

Five-star small forward recruit Michael Porter Jr. doesn't have to make a decision on where he'll attend college for another year or two, but that doesn't mean he hasn't gotten a good head start on narrowing down his decision. Sunday night, Porter Jr., who is the second-ranked player in the country by both Rivals and 247Sports, tweeted out a list of schools that he'll be "moving forward with." There are 17 on the list, and most of them are top programs.

Porter Jr.'s list includes three from the Pac-12 (Arizona, UCLA, Washington), three from the ACC (Duke, Syracuse, Virginia), six from the Big 12 (Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas, Texas Tech), three from the SEC (Kentucky, Missouri, Texas A&M) and two from the Big Ten (Iowa, Indiana).

Porter, who comes in at 6-foot-8, 190 pounds, will be part of the 2017 class. He's from Columbia, Missouri.
