College football hype videos have been flooding the market with the season now less than a week away, so it's easy to spot the ones that stand out above the rest. You've seen videos produced by universities and fans, highlighting big-time plays from seasons past and building excitement for the future, but have you seen a hype video written and produced by a current player, featuring his own rap song about the team?
Probably not, but you're about to.
Late Saturday night, Auburn redshirt freshman linebacker Deshaun Davis released his "team song" for the upcoming season titled "the Takeover," showing his talents extend beyond the gridiron.
Davis did nice work on this, and it will be interesting to see if this leads to other players around the country producing their own hype videos. The Tigers open their season September 5 inside the Georgia Dome against Louisville in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
