Connor Cook's Father's Extremely Offensive Twitter Feed May Have Hurt Son's Draft Stock

It was widely believed that former Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook had some concerning personal issues to deal with as he entered the 2016 NFL Draft, but it now appears his father may have had some glaring concerns as well.

Cook's behavior after the Big Ten title game was widely documented, after he aggressively snatched the MVP trophy out of Hall of Famer Archie Griffin's hands, but his father's social media presence makes his son's actions look like an ice cream social.

Detroit Sports Rag's Jess Moss uncovered a series of disgusting, offensive tweets from what appears to be Chris Cook's Twitter feed, which has since been deleted.

After posting a number of these tweets and his story, Moss had a brief interaction with (Chris) Cook.

">here. You can also read his story here.

It hasn't been confirmed that Cook's father's social media presence had a negative impact on his draft stock, but it's hard to imagine it went unnoticed by NFL personnel.
