Former Major League Baseball player Darryl Strawberry made quite an admission about his playing days Thursday morning. The former New York Met apparently didn’t always have his attention on the games he was playing in, to say the least.
Thursday morning, on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio, Strawberry admitted to having sex in the clubhouse during games with fans that he’d pick out of the crowd. He had a clubhouse attendant go and get them once he decided which he wanted to pursue.
“Between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was,” Strawberry added. “It kind of worked out that way. You point (a woman) out and tell the kid (to go get her).”
Needless to say, if that happened today, it’d be the talk of the sports world for at least a week.
Strawberry, along with former Mets teammate Doc Gooden, is the focus of a new ESPN 30 for 30 documentary titled “Doc & Darryl.” It looks like he had no problem finding a story to help promote the piece.
