The Blue Devils (23-10) were knocked out the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament, while the Seahawks (25-7) captured the CAA Tournament title.

Date: Thursday, March 17

Time: 12:15 p.m. E.T.

TV Channel: CBS

Location: Providence

Announcers: Ian Eagle/Chris Webber/Len Elmore//Evan Washburn

Opening Betting Line: TBA

Prediction: The Blue Devils have a recent history of being knocked off in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament, having lost to Lehigh (2012) and Mercer (2014). They enjoyed an up-and-down regular season, but still should have enough to win this game.

Make no mistake, we're expecting a tough battle, and UNC Wilmington winning this game wouldn't be unfathomable. Still, Grayson Allen, Brandon Ingram and company ought to have enough to get the job done. The defending champs won't be an easy out in this tournament.
