One of the highest-rated former Baylor football commitments has found a landing spot.

According to ESPN's Gerry Hamilton, Sachse (TX) four-star wide receiver Devin Duvernay, rated as the No. 4 wide out in the 2016 class by 247 Sports, has committed to Texas. Duvernay retweeted the news to confirm.

Duvernay wasn't the only Baylor commit looking for a way out of Waco after the firing of head coach Art Briles, but his story was quite different. Baylor failed to submit his paperwork to the Big 12. Seven other players have asked to be released from their letter of intent.

Duvernay is officially the highest-rated member of Texas' 2016 recruiting class, which was ranked as the No. 11 class in the country by 247 Sports' composite rankings.
