Former FSU OG Tre Jackson Got The Start For The Patriots In His First NFL Game

The New England Patriots knew what they were getting when they drafted former Florida State offensive lineman Tre Jackson in the fourth round - 111th overall - of the 2015 NFL Draft, but they probably weren't expecting Jackson to be ready by the season opener. 

But as the Patriots took the field to open the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night, Jackson was starting at the right guard position in his first ever NFL game.

Former FSU center, who played alongside Jackson during the Seminoles' title run in 2013, won the Patriots' starting job last season, so it seems New England likes the way they come out of Tallahassee ready to play.
