FSU running back Dalvin Cook will not play against Syracuse Saturday, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced following Thursday’s practice.
FSU RB Dalvin Cook will be out of Saturday’s game with a left ankle injury sustained against Georgia Tech.

Cook missed the entire week of practice, and has done so for weeks while nursing a hamstring issue, but it’s an ankle injury that will keep him out against the Orange.
Without Cook, FSU will now look to freshman Jacques Patrick to carry the load.
Fisher said feshman RB Jacques Patrick is ready, should get reps vs Syracuse.
