FSU's Dalvin Cook To Miss Remainder Of Spring Following Surgery

Florida State fans hoping to catch a glimpse of star running back Dalvin Cook during this weekend's spring game received some disappointing news Wednesday afternoon.

According to FSU's Tim Linafelt, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced Wednesday that Cook had shoulder surgery, sidelining him for the remainder of spring. He is expected to be back this summer.

With the uncertainty at the quarterback position, Cook is definitely the Seminoles' bread and butter heading into the 2016 college football season. He rushed for 1,691 yards and 19 touchdowns last season and will be expected to do much of the same this time around. FSU fans will want to keep a close eye on his recovery.
