Kentucky basketball made headlines when seven players from its 38-1 team this season elected to leave school early and enter the NBA Draft. The Wildcats still have a glut of talent in the fold for next year, and that group now includes forward Alex Poythress, who missed most of the 2014-15 season with a torn ACL.
Poythress' status for next year was up in the air, but UK head coach John Calipari said today he expects the 6-foot-8 frontcourt player back in Lexington.

Poythress' anticipated return is good news for BBN. He, Marcus Lee and Tyler Ulis form a solid three-man nucleus for 'Cats, and they'll be joined by veterans Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis, plus another heralded recruiting class.
