Louisville And Indiana Agree To 3-Game Football, Basketball Series

Indiana fans storm the court after a major win.

Louisville and Indiana are locked in for a three-game basketball series starting in 2016, as well as a football series beginning in 2023, the schools announced Friday.

The two basketball programs, which combine for eight national championships, will kick off the series at a neutral site in 2016 with a New Year's Eve game at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. The football programs will also kick things off at a neutral site in 2023, as they'll take the field inside Lucas OiI Stadium for the first of three games.

This is a cool series that should bring excitement to both fan bases, and fans won't even have to wait long for that first basketball game.
