Michigan's 2016 recruiting class just got even stronger Thursday night, adding a commitment from the No. 8 cornerback in the nation.

Four-star corner David Long, out of Los Angeles (CA), is rated as the No. 8 player at his position and the No. 65 overall player in the class by 247 Sports. After careful consideration, and after an interesting visit from Jim Harbaugh, during which the head coach climbed Long's tree, he made the decision to join the Wolverines live on ESPNU.
