Michigan State Hero Jalen Watts-Jackson Had Surgery On Fractured Hip
Returning the fumble for a last-second touchdown to give the Spartans a shocking victory over the Wolverines Saturday night was likely the highlight of Michigan State defensive back Jalen Watts-Jackson's young career, but it came with a price. The redshirt freshman suffered a fractured hip after scoring the touchdown.
Sunday morning, Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio announced Watts-Jackson had surgery on his fractured hip. He will miss the remainder of the season.
He's officially a hero in East Lansing, but this is a tough break. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.
