Notre Dame CB Shaun Crawford Says He's Focused On "Coming Back Stronger Next Year"

It's during times of adversity that leadership shines through - even for a freshman.

As Notre Dame freshman cornerback Shaun Crawford found out Wednesday afternoon, after tearing his ACL during practice, things don't always go as planned. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound defensive back will now miss the entire 2015 football season, but he won't let the injury get in his way. He's not going to let it slow him down.

And he doesn't want you to miss his fellow Fighting Irish "get after it" this season.

The Irish open their season September 5 at home against Texas, and it's easy to assume Crawford will be there to cheer his teammates on. Pretty good head on the youngster's shoulders.
