Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer announced six team captains for the upcoming college football season, and one of those players was senior offensive lineman Taylor Decker.
As Meyer expressed in his announcement, it is an incredible honor to be named captain, something these players strive for from the moment they step on campus. And on Friday, after the captains were announced, Decker expressed pride in being named one of the six via Twitter. Going into his third year as a starter, Decker his wear even more pride on his shoulders as he leads OSU's offensive line on the field this fall.
But he wasn't the only player proud to be a captain. Junior safety Tyvis Powell expressed pride in his accomplishment as well.
