Photo: TCU Had The Hypnotoad From 'Futurama' On Video Board To Distract WVU Kicker

If you've ever seen the animated comedy series Futurama, you're probably familiar with The Hypnotoad. And if that's the case, you'll probably be excited to hear that TCU is now using the hypnotizing character to distract opposing kickers during field goal attempts.

During Thursday night's game, while West Virginia's Josh Lambert was lining up to attempt a 51-yarder, The Hyprotoad appeared on the video board, and photos quickly began to surface on Twitter. Unfortunately for the Horned Frogs - at least this time - it didn't work, Lambert as good from 51 yards out.

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.

Kudos to TCU for the idea. The horned Frogs are up on the Mountaineers, 23-10, at the half, and you can catch the rest of the game live on FS1.
