Photo: Tennessee's Awesome Checkerboard-Out Weakened By Oklahoma Fans

Tennessee's tradition of turning the stands inside Neyland Stadium into a giant burnt-orange and white checkerboard is one of the coolest spectacles in all of college football. But when you have an opposing fan base that travels as well as Oklahoma does, it can ruin the checkerboard.

Saturday evening, as the Volunteers and Sooners were getting ready to kick things off in Knoxville, pictures began to surface on Twitter showing Oklahoma's colors bleeding into the burnt-orange and white. Oklahoma's assistant athletic director Mike Houck captured this awesome photo of the scene inside Neyland Stadium.

Even with the Oklahoma fans weakening the checkerboard look, it's still a pretty cool sight to see. You can catch Oklahoma and Tennessee live on ESPN.
