Report: Elite RB James Cook, Brother Of Dalvin Cook, Reclassifies To 2018

One of the top running back prospects in the country has decided to reclassify.

Miami Central back James Cook, the younger brother of Florida State star Dalvin Cook, has decided to reclassify from the 2019 class to the 2018 class, according to 247 Sports

Cook, who is already 16, would have been too old to play football by the time his senior year of high school came around, so he'll now set his sights on entering college early.

The 5-foot-11, 182-pounder committed to FSU back in March. But according to 247 Sports, Cook says he still has interest in Miami, Clemson, Michigan, Texas and USC as well.

With the move, Cook is now expected to be ranked as one of the top running backs in the 2018 class.
