Report: SMU Basketball Hit With Postseason Ban For 2015-16, Larry Brown Suspended

Update: According to new reports, Brown is actually suspended for 30 percent of the season's games. 

Earlier: SMU's men's basketball program has been hit with a postseason ban for 2015-16 and its coach, Larry Brown, has been suspended for 10 percent of the season's games, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman. 

The NCAA has finished its investigation into the Mustangs' program and is set to reveal its decision to SMU at 11 a.m. E.T. SMU met with the NCAA's Committee on Infractions in June. The NCAA's list of allegations include academic misconduct and lack of coach control. 

SMU will also lose nine scholarships over the next three seasons, according to Goodman.
