Scout Gets Slammed By Colleague For Saying Jaylon Smith Is "Not The Smartest Guy"

Notre Dame's Jaylon Smith is widely regarded as one of the most talented players entering the 2016 NFL Draft, but the season-ending knee injury he suffered against Ohio State has altered his draft stock. 

And now it appears at least one scout is finding other issues with the former ND star, but he's clearly alone. Former director of college scouting for the Bears, Greg Gabriel, who spent 30 years as a scout, was not happy with what one "scout" had to say about Smith.

It's still unclear where Smith will come off the board during the draft. He's a first-round talent with an injury that will sideline him for his entire rookie season, but that's where the concerns begin and end.
