SEC Network Uses Alabama Logo During Auburn Takeover

The Auburn Tigers were in line to dominate SEC Network's programming on Saturday night as part of the network’s 14-team takeover through July 31.

For the next 24 hours... we are all Auburn everything!

However, the network made one crucial error that Tigers fans would not overlook.

So I see the @SECNetwork is going with the "same state, close enough" philosophy with its Auburn logo choice. pic.twitter.com/l2C7demMMI

The network had the #SECNTakeover hashtag with the Alabama logo - not the Auburn logo - in the right hand corner of the screen during a huge portion of the 1989 Iron Bowl.

It took almost a full hour of Alabama trolling for the network to correct the logo.

It looks like SEC Network's fib might add more fire to the Auburn-Alabama rivalry this year.
