Each off-season, college football fans are treated to various reveals of new or alternate uniforms for the upcoming season. Each year, it seems designers Nike, Under Armour and adidas play a game of "Can You Top This?" as they try to create the sleekest, flashiest and most durable uniforms for their clients.

2015 was no different, as dozens of programs unveiled fresh looks that will be officially debuted on the gridiron this fall. Some were phenomenal, others not so much. But they all were unique and memorable in different ways.

It's tough to limit our list to 10, but without further ado, here are the top 10 new uniforms for the 2015 college football season, starting with...

Louisville's "Uncaged" Alternate >>>

10. Louisville's "Uncaged" Alternate

Adidas dropped these in late June, and the look immediately generated a stir. The white, red and silver come together really nicely, and the Olde English-style "L" on the helmet and pant leg isn't a bad feature either.

The most eye-catching aspect of this set, of course, is the humongous bird on the other side of the helmet and on the team's spikes. It is quite in-your-face.

Louisville will debut this look in its season opener against Auburn on Sept. 5.

This isn't an awful uniform by any means, but given Louisville's color scheme, it could have been better. Still, it deserves a spot on our countdown.

9. UCLA's TECHFIT x Primeknit Uniform

UCLA's sky blue and gold color way is well-known, and the Bruins' traditional uniforms are somewhat of a classic look. In July, adidas took the old school and tried to give it a modern touch-up with the new TECHFIT x Primeknit Uniform.

The Primeknit pattern on the jerseys matches that on adidas' Primeknit sneakers. The gloves spelling out UCLA looks awesome, though when does a player ever have his hands like that during game action?

The Bruins will rock these uniforms starting Sept. 5 against Virginia, and they will serve as the team's new home kit.

8. Nebraska's "Husker Bold" Alternates

Well, these certainly ARE bold. Adidas smashed the mold of Nebraska's "Big Red" tradition when it designed this get-up, released late last month.

Our thoughts? It seems like every program has a black alternate these days, so Nebraska eschewing red for one game isn't a huge deal, especially given the program's "Black Shirt" defensive tradition. What is a big deal, is the garish "N" on the side of the pants.

These could have been better. Thankfully, the Huskers will wear them only once, on Oct. 24 against Northwestern.

Miami released its new uniforms in true Miami fashion: with a release party at Club Liv that featured a performance from rapper Pusha T. By adidas' bell-and-whistle-filled standards, these are pretty clean-cut and no-frills.

The below photos show the mono-chrome options for the Hurricanes, but the white pants can also be worn with the green and orange tops. We're not sure if any other combinations will be worn.

6. Colorado's New Nike Uniforms

Colorado hasn't had a winning season in 10 years and hasn't made a bowl game in eight. The program needs an overhaul, so why not start with an on-field face lift?

The Buffaloes unveiled their new Nike uniforms on May 1, and the look will include this sharp "Frosted Steel" combo as well. A full gallery can be found here, but let's take a quick look at some of the on-field ensembles the team will sport in 2015.

Overall, these are pretty outstanding. The incorporation of grey and steel in with the Buffs' primary black and gold is dynamite. The different helmets all mesh well with the uniforms they're designed to be paired with.

5. Tennessee's New Nike Uniforms

Tennessee's new uniforms were revealed to the world on July 1, and Vols fans were excited about the new look. Not veering too far from the traditional UT look, Nike found a way to both pay tribute to that history as well as build excitement for the future. Along with a new burnt orange home uniforms, there were also updates to the away whites, as well as an additional smokey-grey alternate jersey.

Tennessee's famous checkerboard even found its way onto the back of the helmets, and it looks pretty cool.

Overall, while a little less traditional, the smokey-grey unis are pretty amazing. Will be interesting to see if they break them out in 2015.

4. Texas A&M's Halloween Uniforms

The Texas A&M Aggies, partnered with Adidas, took things one step further during their August 7 uniform unveiling. Instead of showing fans a new set of uniforms to be worn throughout the season, they revealed a uniform specifically meant to be worn Halloween night at home against South Carolina. The outcome was pretty amazing. Not only are the uniforms all black everything, but the helmets are ridiculous - and the logo will apparently glow in the dark.

Even underneath the jerseys, players will be sporting an amazing look, and the players probably love this.

These uniforms are going to look really cool when the Aggies take the field against the Gamecocks. The all black jersey-helmet combo looks great against the white cleats.

The Aggies are probably itching to wear these on October 31.

3. Michigan State's Nike Uniforms

Nike's April 23 unveiling of the new Michigan State jerseys created quite the buzz. Careful to not stomp on years of tradition, Nike was able to produce some really cool uniforms for the Spartans, all while paying tribute to that very history. Along with new-look home greens and away whites, the Spartans also have a new alternate uniform inspired by bronze Spartan shields and the phalanx battle formation, and they're awesome.

The helmet for the alternate jerseys is definitely a different look than Spartans fans are accustomed to, but I think they'll like these.

Really nice work by Nike on these unis. They'll look great in action, as you can see from this video.
