USA TODAY Releases Annual Highest-Paid College Football Coaches List

It should come as no surprise that Alabama's Nick Saban is the highest-paid college football coach in the country, expected to bring in over $7 million in 2015.

But where do the others stack up?

On Thursday, USA TODAY released its annual list of college football head coaches' salaries, and some of these are more surprising than others.

Top 10, via USA TODAY:

1. Alabama's Nick Saban - $7,087,481
2. Michigan's Jim Harbaugh - $7,004,000
3. Ohio State's Urban Meyer - $5,860,000
4. Oklahoma's Bobo Stoops - $5,400,000
5. Florida State's Jimbo Fisher - $5,150,000
6. Texas' Charlie Strong - $5,100,270
7. Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin - $5,000,000
8. Penn State's James Franklin - $4,400,000
9. LSU's Les Miles - $4,385,567
10. Mississippi's Hugh Freeze - $4,310,000

Michigan clearly wanted Harbaugh as its next head coach, and the Wolverines have already looked better for it in 2015.
