The winningest active FBS college football coach just won his final regular season game and became bowl eligible one last time.
Virginia Tech's Frank Beamer will retire at season's end, but the Hokies just earned him one more game before he hangs up his hat, beating Virginia, 23-20, Saturday afternoon.
Beamer and his players could not have been more excited once the final whistle blew, and the long-time head coach was showered in ice-cold Gatorade and carried off the field. It was awesome, and ESPN College Football posted this video to Vine.
Beamer will coach one final game, a bowl game, before he calls it a day.
