On Thursday, NBA legend Allen Iverson made an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show. During his time on the show, he shared some tidbits about his high school career.

Iverson wasn't just the starting point guard for Bethel High School, he played multiple positions for the school's football team. Believe it or not, he had plans to play both sports in college.

However, Iverson's legal troubles prevented him from ever getting that chance to be a dual-sport athlete. He told Dan Patrick that all his football/basketball scholarship offers went away because he was arrested in 1993.

If Iverson didn't get in any legal trouble, he would have apparently considered playing basketball and football for either Maryland or Notre Dame.

It would've been interesting to see how Iverson's college career would've played out if he went to Maryland or Notre Dame.

Iverson ultimately went to Georgetown and became a star in the Big East.

We'd imagine Iverson is pleased with the way things played out.
