On Thursday night, one of the top picks in the 2019 NBA draft finally saw his first NBA action.

Former Duke star Cam Reddish played 21 minutes for the Atlanta Hawks during the team's game against the Detroit Pistons. Despite winning the game 117-100, the debut did not go all that well for the young rookie.

Reddish did not make a shot from the field, finishing 0-6 from the floor and 0-5 from three-point range.

He did, however, make 1-of-2 free throws to at least get on the board with one point.

After the game, NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley had a brutally honest comment about the former Blue Devils' performance on Thursday night.

"I mean, Cam Reddish only had one point. He had one point more than a dead man," Barkley said.

That's the hard-hitting analysis we've come to expect from Barkley over the years. He says exactly what's on his mind, for better or worse.

Reddish did add seven rebounds, one assist and a steal on the night - so it's not all about scoring. He'll get a chance to score more on Saturday night when the Hawks face off against the Orlando Magic.
