Coming off a super season that culminated in an NBA championship and Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard's stock is higher than its ever been. He's slated to become a free agent next week, but it looks like only a couple of teams have a shot at him.
According to OddsShark, the Toronto Raptors have been given the best odds to sign him at -225. Coming in at a somewhat close second are the Los Angeles Clippers at +175.
Beyond the Raptors and Clippers though, the odds get significantly lower. The Los Angeles Lakers, who recently traded for Anthony Davis, were given +800 odds.
Rounding out the top five were the two New York teams - the New York Knicks at +1400, and the Brooklyn Nets at +1600.
Kawhi averaged career highs in points (26.6 per game) and rebounds (7.3 per game) last season, earning his third NBA All-Star selection in the last four years.
But Kawhi was even more dominant in the playoffs, averaging 30.5 points per game, 9.1 rebounds per game, and 3.9 assists per game in 24 playoff starts.
The injury to Kevin Durant in the NBA Finals is poised to make Kawhi's value skyrocket this off-season, but it could all be moot if he re-signs with the Raptors. Some of his teammates certainly seem to think it will happen.
