Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers To Meet In Eastern Conference Finals

The 2017 NBA Eastern Conference Finals matchup is set.

The Boston Celtics just finished wrapping up a 115-105 win over the Washington Wizards in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Star point guard Isaiah Thomas led Boston with 29 points and reserve forward Kelly Olynyk (yes, really) poured in a surprising 26.

Now, the Celtics, the top seed in the East, will get a chance to unseat the second-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The best-of-7 series begins Wednesday. Here is the full schedule:

If Cleveland wins the series, it will be the Cavs' third-straight conference title and trip to the NBA Finals. It would also be LeBron James' seventh-straight Finals appearance, as he went with the Miami Heat from 2011-14.

Meanwhile, if the Celtics take the series, it will be Boston's first time reaching the NBA Finals since 2010. That year, the Celts fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in seven games.

Should be a good one.
