Tacko Fall wasn’t selected during the 2019 NBA Draft, but that hasn’t stopped the 7-foot-6 phenom from making a name for himself in the NBA Summer League.
Fall quickly rose to stardom at UCF due to his jaw-dropping stature. His performance in this year’s NCAA Tournament elevated his status as one of the biggest stars in college hoops.
Concerns about Fall’s mobility played a factor in why he fell off draft boards. It didn’t take too long for him to find a new team though, as the Boston Celtics offered him a contract in June.
Reports came out earlier today about the Celtics waiving Guerschon Yabusele, which might open the door for Fall this offseason. However, the UCF product has a long way to go before he can claim the final roster spot.
According to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe, the Celtics have no plans for Fall to receive the 15th roster spot at the moment.
The team still plans to have him for training camp on his current Exhibit 10 deal.
And since plenty are asking, as of now there are no plans for Tacko Fall to claim the Celtics' 15th roster spot. Plan is still for him to enter camp on his Exhibit 10 deal and proceed from there.

Fall has generated buzz in the Summer League because of his ability to dominate opponents in the paint.
Boston has plenty of playmakers on its roster heading into the 2019-20 season, but its biggest weakness has to be its lack of size. That could change if the team decides to roll the dice with Fall.
