Report: Celtics, Sixers In Talks On Trade Involving No. 1 Pick

We might be getting a major shakeup at the top of the NBA Draft.

The NBA Draft is less than a week away, and the rumor mill is working non-stop.

The latest report out there is a major one. According to ESPN's Marc Stein and Zach Lowe, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are in major trade talks involving the No. 1 overall pick.

The Celtics have the top pick, while the 76ers have the No.3 selection.

If this goes through, it would be the second year in a row that Philadelphia would pick first overall. Last year, they took LSU's Ben Simmons.

According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, the 76ers are indeed targeting Washington point guard Markelle Fultz, which is why they want to move up to No. 1.

Hypothetically, if Boston stayed at No. 1 and didn't take Fultz, the Los Angeles Lakers would most likely select him at No. 2, and Philly would be out of luck.

Woj is also reporting that Boston would not only get Philly's third-overall pick this year, but a future first round selection as part of the total package.

Things could get very interesting over the next couple of days.
