It will be dwarfed by the news of Kevin Durant becoming the newest Brooklyn Net, but the Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly set to make a solid free agent signing of former Net Brook Lopez.
The 31-year-old Lopez spent last season with the Bucks, helping Milwaukee earn the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. He averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots in 81 games.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, he is re-upping with the Bucks for four years, $52 million.
Lopez always could score in the paint and block shots but by adding a three-point shot to his repertoire in recent seasons, he's become an even more useful player.
This past season, Lopez set career-high marks for three-point attempts (512) and makes (187). His three-point percentage (.365) was also a career-best.
Milwaukee will be expected to contend once again in the East next season thanks to the continued development of MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, plus a solid supporting cast.
