Kevin Durant tore his Achilles just eight months ago. But one of the NBA's best is already looking like his usual, dominant self.
Video of one of Durant's recent training sessions emerged Tuesday night . The Nets forward drained three after three in a catch-and-shoot drill and also displayed some impressive ball-handling in an isolation drill with a defender.
Durant still has some work to do as he continues to rehab from injury. But he's certainly starting to look like his former-MVP self. If Durant can produce for the Nets like he did for the Thunder and Warriors, Brooklyn will be a major NBA Finals contender next season.
While the latest workout footage is certainly a good sign for Durant, he's still expected to miss the rest of the season. But the All-Star forward is set to return at the start of the 2020-21 season as long as there's no major setbacks. Check out Durant's latest workout video below:
NBA fans have definitely missed Durant this season.
The 7-footer is set to team-up with Kyrie Irving in 2021. The Nets' duo will without-a-doubt be one of the best duos in the league.
Brooklyn is certainly hoping both Durant and Irving will be at full health by the start of next season.
