Dwyane Wade Apologizes On Twitter For Throat Slash Gesture
Dwyane Wade took to Twitter to apologize for making a throat slash gesture after sinking a 3-pointer for the win.
Dwyane Wade, who shot 15 percent from behind the arc last season, looked like a new man last night, going 4-of-6 from 3-point land and draining the game-clinching shot to beat the Celtics 99-105.
After sinking the shot, Wade stood and made the throat slash gesture to a raucous Chicago crowd. It was awesome.

He didn't get called for a technical, but he's definitely going to get fined for that. The gesture has been banned from the NBA since 1999 because of its violent connotation. Kevin Durant was fined $25,000 for making the gesture against (oddly enough) the Warriors in the 2012-13 season.
Wade issued an apology on Twitter directed at his younger fans.
Classy move from a classy player.
Wade and the Bulls take on the 1-0 Indiana Pacers this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. E.T.
